Our Pastor

Robert Lee Boykin is a native of Mobile Alabama. He is a lifelong member of the Missionary Baptist Church. He began preaching the gospel 2010 at the Delaware Street Missionary Baptist Church in Mobile Alabama. He also served there as Men’s Sunday School teacher, and a Deacon. He has extensive church administrative knowledge, gained by serving as President of the Trustee Board of the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Mobile Alabama.

Pastor Boykin served his country in the US Army for 15 years and he retired from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department after 25 years of dedicated service. Pastor Boykin earned an Associate degree in Biblical Studies from the Midwest College of Theology.

An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Boykin is widely known for his expository teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. He is an avid supporter of various charities both local and abroad.

He and his wife, Ilene, serve together in the ministry and they are the proud parents of 4 adult children.
